Is Google AdSense worth it in 2024?
Quick Answer: No
AdSense isn’t worth it for our sites(and low to medium traffic websites in general). In 2024 for us it doesn’t pay enough to cover the hosting cost. Auto ads placed by AdSense make very poor user experience. It’s not profitable and can potentially decrease website traffic.
Recent months I feel that my experience can be summed up as:
“Google AdSense wins, you lose.”
The last statement is quite bold, but it may hold some truth when considering the effort for content creation versus the gain.
